How does it work?
Fresh Farmacy is a new prescription/referral-based program for Medicaid recipients, available only through Turning Point. Our staff works with you to:

  • connected you with Primary Care physicians
  • provide you with fresh fruits and vegetables for yourself and your household for six months at Turning Point locations
  • qualify for food preparation classes
  • receive assistance with other needs (transportation assistance to medical services, help with forms, etc.)

Am I eligible?
To participate, you must have Medicaid and a prescription from your doctor. Your doctor will make the recommendation based on your BMI and if you have a chronic health condition.

How can I enroll in this program?
You must have a prescription/referral from your primary care physician. Your primary care physician may refer you to the program, or a Turning Point staff member will help you get to your primary care provider in order to participate. Your primary care physician must be a participating provider in the program. If you are unsure if you PCP is a participating provider, please call: 607-776-8085 ext. 2211.
