Therapeutic Foster Care provides coordination to ensure that children in foster care receive planned services in support of their overall well-being and their ability to return home. In addition, we recruit, train and support foster parents, providing:
- Pre-service and ongoing training
- 24/7 support
- A generous monthly stipend
- Foster family activities
61% of the youth served successfully achieved permanency goals either through reunification with family or alternatives including adoption. Success means demonstration of positive parent-child bonding taking place, increases in the child’s self-esteem, increases in positive behavioral skills and confidence, and demonstration of children and families connecting with the necessary services to ensure future success.
