Catholic Charities of Steuben would like to thank Corning Incorporated Foundation for awarding a $1,000 Employee Vibrant Community Grant, one of 65 grants issued in celebration of the Foundation’s 65th Anniversary.
The Employee Vibrant Community Grants were awarded to eligible non-profit organizations based on employee nominations. Nominating Catholic Charities of Steuben was Johanna Gigliotti, Corporate Staffs.
Gigliotti presented the check to Catholic Charities of Steuben Executive Director, Laura Opelt, and Fundraising/Communications Director, Paula Smith earlier this month.
Building communities that care for all people is key to Catholic Charities’ mission. The agency offers a wide range of services that that empower people to enrich their quality of life. Programs focus on promoting healthy child development and healthy family functioning, reducing substance abuse, and alleviating poverty. The grant will go toward general program support.
The Foundation has thoughtfully granted more than $167,600,000 to non-profit organizations since it was founded in 1952. Through leadership and collaboration, the Foundation strives to foster vibrant, enriching, and supportive communities.
